We are located in the beautiful Hemel en Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley outside Hermanus in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Our family run restaurant is surrounded by mountains, fields, fruits, and vines; it is truly a magnificent valley and well worth a visit when you come to Hermanus to enjoy the coastal scenery and whale watching. What better then to schedule a lunch at the Cookhouse after tasting the local wines from our area. We have been open since 1996, and thank our loyal customers who return year after year.
